Taiwan Tech becomes 20th sustainable development MOU signing university
After signing a sustainable development memorandum of understanding with National Taipei University and other 18 universities, Ambassador Eugene Chien, Chairman of TAISE, and CEO Yang Ku represented the the Taiwan Institute of Sustainable Energy jointly signed a new sustainable development memorandum of understanding with President Ching-Jong Liao and Dean Sheau-Pyng Ju of National Taiwan University of Science and Technology. Those attending the event also included Vice President Rong-Huay Juang, Vice President Jinn P. Chu, and other administrative heads of Taiwan Tech. The signing of the MOU is expected to combine the experience and influence of the two sides in sustainability education to nurture core abilities in sustainability in teachers and students and implement the vision of developing a green university. Taiwan Tech is the 20th university that has signed the MOU with the Institute.
