China Airlines Climate Risk Opportunity Management Seminar
On January 7, China Airlines held Climate Risk Opportunity Management Seminar at the corporate headquarters with more than 50 executives attending. The attendants included high-level executives like all the fist-level executives, and general managers of each subsidiary. Also invited were external lectures like CPA Roger Tseng, head of Climate Change and Sustainable Development Services at Ernst & Young Taiwan. Chairman Eugene Chien used Carbon Offsetting and Reduction Scheme for International Aviation (CORSIA), three carbon reduction goals and four pillar strategies for the aviation industry to deliver his speech and shared with the attendant risks and opportunities of climate change as well as the latest trends of corporate sustainable development.
