5th (2019) Seminar on Post-COP Coping Strategies and Development for Implementing the Paris Agreement
The Taiwan Institute for Sustainable Energy (TAISE) and Center for Corporate Sustainability (CCS) held the 2019 Seminar on Post-COP Coping Strategies and Development for Implementing the Paris Agreement at Institute of Diplomatic & International Affairs, MOFA on Monday, Dec. 23. This year’s seminar specifically invited speakers that included Tze-Luen Alan Lin, Deputy Executive Director, Office of Energy and Carbon Reduction at the Executive Yuan, Chun-Ming Chiu, Deputy Secretary-General at Taoyuan City Government, Dr. Ying-Shih Hsieh, Chairman of Environmental Quality Protection Foundation, Yuh-Ming Lee, Distinguished Professor and Head of Natural Resources and Environment Management Institute, National Taipei University,
Peter Chen, Director of CSR Execution Office to share their views. They shared the latest information after the 2019 United Nations Climate Change Conference Climate Change Conference (UNFCCC COP 25) with people in Taiwan as well as new knowledge about global carbon reduction strategies in the hope that industry, government, academia, research sectors and civil society can keep up with the times and get ready to cope with trends of the future.
