The TCO development organization visits Ambassador Eugene Chien to share mutual visions for promoting corporate sustainability

TCO Development Purchaser Engagement Division Senior Executive Ms. Clare Hobby and Asia Office Regional Manager Mr. Martin Söderberg visited the Taiwan Institute for Sustainable Energy on January 17, aiming to gain an appreciation of Taiwan corporate sustainable development status and trends, as well as TAISE activities and results, while hoping to cooperate with the TAISE platform and Taiwan corporations to jointly promote CSR products and services.

TCO Development Purchaser Engagement Division Senior Executive Ms. Clare Hobby shared about the TCO development organization’s 26 years of experience in promoting product sustainable certification and related guidance to industry for planning and applicable principles and precepts. Among these was the latest release in December 2018 of the Generation 8 plan, which focuses on leading enterprises to enhanced product lifecycles, as well as achieving IT product circular development, and thus achieving the ultimate objectives of corporate sustainability. She also expressed hope that both sides could enjoy closer cooperation, and unite for sharing and exchange of international CSR experiences.
