1090118-Sustainable development of international aviation industry

When the Paris Agreement was signed in 2016, it did not include carbon emission standards for aviation and seafaring as the routes of seafaring and aviation would cover many countries, making it hard to define the amount of carbon emissions. Therefore the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) that promotes international aviation safety and standards came up with Carbon Offsetting and Reduction Scheme for International Aviation (CORSIA) to ask aviation companies to fulfill certain obligations to cope with carbon reduction and this set the ball rolling for the aviation industry to fully engage in carbon reduction and standards, which also makes it part of the things they need to do to implement the future life.
