Our Vision

We paint a future dedicated to raising public awareness of sustainable energy issues, fostering global academic and technical collaborations, promoting relevant publications, and engaging domestic industries. We aim to contribute to sustainable energy research and development through exchanges and cooperation.

Our Mission

Mission Statement 

Our foundation is committed to aligning Taiwan with global sustainability efforts. We focus on six key objectives: climate change, sustainable energy, corporate sustainability, university sustainability, UN SDGs, and health sustainability. Our work includes policy advocacy, education, international exchanges, and the Taiwan Corporate Sustainability Awards. Through competitions, education, platforms, and research, we gather insights to drive sustainable policy advocacy and amplify our societal impact.

Our History and Story

TAISE emerged from sustainable energy advocates' vision and financial commitment, gaining official founding approval on October 31st, 2007. Our central mission is to advance research and innovation in sustainable energy while nurturing sustainable energy infrastructure growth. Guided by the leadership of Chairman Eugene Chien Y. H., the Department of Administration and Management oversees five critical units: the Department of Planning, the Center for Corporate Sustainability (CCS), the Taiwan Corporate Sustainability Awards (TCSA), the Taiwan Academy of Corporate Sustainability (TACS), and the Office of Net Zero Initiative.

I. Facilitate forums and conferences dedicated to advancing sustainable energy technology.

II. Publish journals and books and establish a dedicated website for disseminating sustainable energy technology development information.

III. Curate and analyze data on energy technologies, policies, industries, and business insights, establishing a robust information hub.

IV. Recognize and support research endeavors in energy technology and corporate sustainability.

V. Foster international collaborations by engaging with global energy institutions and forging cooperative frameworks.

VI. Promote education and awareness regarding Sustainable Energy.

VII. Undertake additional initiatives related to energy technology research, applications, and corporate sustainability efforts.

Our History and Establishment

TAISE emerged from sustainable energy advocates' vision and financial commitment, gaining official founding approval on October 31st, 2007. Our central mission is to advance research and innovation in sustainable energy while nurturing sustainable energy infrastructure growth. Guided by the leadership of Chairman Eugene Chien Y. Our Financial Support

TAISE holds financial assets totaling NT$ 100 million, made possible through significant contributions. Greater Taipei Gas Co., Ltd., Shin Kong Life Insurance Co., and Taiwan Shin Kong Security & Insurance Company contributed NT$ 30 million. Additionally, the Chairman of Shin Kong Financial Holding, Mr. Eugene Wu, donated NT$ 10 million, solidifying TAISE's establishment.
